Gregory Graham Grant
has earned international acclaim as a nature and portrait artist, instructor, and conservationist. He received his formal art training at East Carolina University, the Governor's School at Salem College, and at the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts. He has been listed in the international edition of Baron's Who's Who, and has painted numerous portraits of prominent individuals, such as former U.S. Secretary of Labor, William J. Usery, and His Highness, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. His original work and limited edition prints are found in public and private collections throughout the world.
Greg's current work involves studying and painting endangered species and habitat from Florida, Alaska, and Arabia, and enjoys continued success painting family and executive portraits for clients both domestically and abroad.
In 1988, Greg founded the Artquest School of Art & Design to preserve traditional values in representational styles of art. Today, the school serves over 750 children and adults annually at his Ormond Beach, Florida studio, and through local and international outreach programs. The Artquest School was officially recognized and commended by Florida Governor Lawton Chiles for excellence in developmental arts education.
Greg and his wife Karen live on a small ranch near Ormond Beach with their Paso Fino horses, dog Sam, and cat Skittles.
