About the ArtQuest School...
The Artquest School of Art & Design was founded in 1988 by Gregory Graham Grant, an internationally known nature and portrait painter, to preserve traditional values in representational styles of art. Gifted and talented students of all ages enjoy superior art instruction, participating in intense sessions with professional artists, Artquest trained instructors, and college interns, all representing a wide range of specialties. Class sizes are limited to ensure individual attention.
Drawing, painting, color and creative design, ceramics/sculpture, and special courses for very young students are some of the programs that are offered year-round at the school. Adults can enjoy weekly three-hour morning classes or two-hour evening classes, while gifted and talented children (preK through 12th grade) come to weekly two-hour after-school classes with age-specific activities. A popular "Summer Art" program runs from early June to mid August with classes meeting daily during two-week sessions.
Today the Artquest School serves over 750 children and adults annually at its primary location in Ormond Beach, Florida, and through local and international outreach programs. The school was officially recognized and commended by Florida Governor Lawton Chiles for excellence in developmental arts education.
